- Masta Aztex 170 Turnout Rug
The Masta Aztex 170 is a new medium weight horse turnout rug from leading manufacturer Masta. The horse rug is 1000 denier and fabricated from a tough, waterproof, breathable polyester material outer with a nylon lining; keeping your horse warm with 170g/6oz of thermal insulation.
The Aztex 170 is a standard turnout design with zip-neck. A separate matching neck-cover is also available to go with the turnout rug.
Features of the Masta rug include easy-fastening buckles, rear legs straps that can easily be removed, rear folded darts and a novel gusseted tail flap; all of which should keep your horse snug and stop wind getting up inside the horse rug.

High Visibility Exercise Horse Rug
As the non-existent summer gives way to shorter evenings it is worth spending some time now preparing for your those winter months ahead. Many of us who own horses find ourselves out early before or after work in the dark. If, like me, you have to cross or take your horse along the road from the stables to the field you may quite rightly be concerned about not being visible to oncoming cars.
It is worth considering therefore not only wearing high visibility clothing yourself, but also putting a horse rug on your horse that incorporates some high visibility material. Of course if your horse or pony has a high visibility horse rug when out in the field they’ll also be easy to find with a torch!
