Earlier this month 833 young competitors descended on Oklahoma City for The Built Ford Tough American Quarter Horse Youth Association World Championship Show; this monster show bringing an estimated $10.9 million to the city’s economy.
The event took place over nine days with the competitors all hoping for one of the coveted 33 world championship titles. The winner of each title received, as well as the honour of being named youth world champion, a Montana Slilversmith’s buckle fashioned into a beautiful trophy, a neck wreath and medal along with a specially embroidered WeatherBeeta horse rug.
