Bobby - An 11yo gelding for sale
Good to catch, lead, groom, load, travel, clip, box, with the dentist and farrier (has had shoes but has been barefoot for the past 3 years). Happy to live out or in (has lived out 24/7 but last winter came in every night). He has been kept in large and small herds mixed and geldings only. He is up to date with all vacs, worming, teeth and back. I have owned him for the past 3 years and have used him predominantly as a hacking horse, but have done some SJ, XC and sponsored rides. He is a nicely marked cob, works well on the flat, snaffle mouth, he is totally non-spooky when out hacking, very safe in traffic and does not get excitable when out with others or in open spaces. He is forward without being strong and is never fizzy. My granddaughters have taken him to numerous SJ and XC comps and always been in the ribbons. He was hunted in his previous home.
I have come to the sad decision to sell as he is grumpy on the ground and I have lost my confidence in handling him, also due to moving house and my own illness he has now been out of work for a couple of months. He needs an experienced, confident and understanding home to bring him back into work. He is a well loved member of our family, which is why he is priced low as the right home is paramount.
